Find a Panel Member The SCCP Panel has transitioned from the Engineer to the Contract Panel , which was set up as a pilot programme by Engineering New Zealand and the Construction Sector Accord in 2022-2023. All members have signed up to a Code of Conduct and support each other within the group. The SCCP will continue to welcome membership applications from ICs and EtCS who wish to be evaluated and included alongside existing Panel members, furthering the goal of creating a go-to platform for the industry. This recognises them as having professional, technical, and leadership skills relative to the scale, complexity and sectors that they have demonstrated experience within, as well as the mana to be highly effective in the role of Independent Certifier or Engineer to the Contract. This new membership gives students the opportunity to gain invaluable skills and networks in the industry as they explore the academic side of the sector. Please note: You would need to be a full time student to get access. General Members General membership is open to anyone working in and around construction contract administration who wants to join an organisation of collegial and supportive peers, increase their knowledge of contract management, and grow their professional network in the contract management space. General Members may consider applying for panel membership of the SCCP. This is for experienced contract specialists (see Panel Members, right) General membership is $195 + GST (pro rata). Please be aware you will be billed through Engineering New Zealand Join as an General Member Panel Members Panel membership of the SCCP is for experienced contract specialists with a proven minimum 5 year background in the role of Engineer to Contract (within NZS391X forms of contract), who can also act in the role of Independent Certifier (within the NZS3910:2023 form of contract). Panel members are committed to impartial and fair decision making, have demonstrable soft skills, and collaborate with their peers for the mutual raising of expertise. Applicants are required to follow an application, evaluation, interview, and referee-checking process.
