I am drawn to SCCP because it represents the professional standards, ethical practice, and collaborative approach that underpin New Zealand’s construction industry. I value the Society’s emphasis on accountability, competence, and continuous learning in contract administration, and I see membership as an opportunity to both strengthen my own practice and contribute to improving contract clarity and project outcomes across the sector. My interest is in continuing to bridge the operational, commercial, and governance aspects of project delivery — ensuring fair, transparent, and well-administered contracts that support sustainable and professional industry relationships.
